  The place is beautiful and the owners seem really nice. However, dealing with the coordinator? Cher was such a unpleasant experience I wouldn't recommend anyone getting married here. She got the times mixed up on our wedding and forgot to charge us. She not only came to us the day of for payment but conspired with the DJ to get us out of the place early. I finally asked them why they were shutting off the music 1hr before we were leaving and was met with a blank stare. She should have never talked to the DJ about the times. That was our business and we paid them be there during certain times. That was not her place to dictate. She showed up an 1hr late to set the place up and left a teenager in charge who played on her phone the whole time. We kept asking questions and she wouldn't even look up from her phone to answer. She basically kept saying to wait until Cher is here. When she did get here she went completely off of what we agreed on. Wanting to sit elderly people outside in 90 degree weather. Ridiculous. Lastly, we put a deposit down for an open bar with a promise we'd get it back if it wasn't used. We left the same time everyone else did, The tab was at $150 out of $300. It has been months and we have not gotten any check, phone call or anything about the $150 left on our tab. My husband and I decided to cut our losses since she is so hard to deal with. So beware. I have had a dozen people comment they have unpleasant experiences with her as well. In fact, my mom called me up in a panic the day after we put our deposit down because her friend's daughter had just had a wedding there and they had nothing but problems.

  I was very happy with the communication by the wedding coordinator at the venue as well as all the work they put in to make the day go off without a hitch. They were very helpful in this! They were very flexible on allowing us to get creative with our ceremony and what it included. I was not happy with the amount of time allowed to set up decorations for our big day. A lot of things were left out that I worked hard on simply because we only had 2 hours prior to the ceremony to set up. However, the grounds are beautiful so a lot of decorations aren't necessary. I would recommend keeping it at a bare minimum if you choose this venue. It was all beautiful despite the lack of decoration use inside. I was not pleased with how the bar was handled. We signed a contract and it was not followed and we ended up paying much more for the alcohol than we agreed upon. We agreed on a cash bar for guests and we were only going to pay for wedding party drinks. We made a $400 deposit on bar and after that minimum was met we would get a refund minus the wedding party bill. We met the $400 minimum with guest drinks and wedding party only drank $201 worth of drinks, so we should have received a $199 refund, however the bar manager gave the first $400 worth of drinks away to guests for free thinking we were covering the first $400. So we ended up losing our $400 deposit and having to pay another $201. The wedding coordinator would not work with us on this and said since we went over our allotted time we would call it even. However, the time we went over was spent arguing about the bar bill. The only other issue we encountered was getting ready. During our pre-wedding meeting we were told to get dressed at the venue and we would be provided an area for this. Once we arrived we were told we should have come dressed and ready. However, they found us a spot to get dressed quickly. We decided just to take the hit on the bar $ since the rest of the day went so well and coordinator not willing to discuss at the time we brought it up. We didn't want to end our great day on a sour note. I would recommend making sure to get all details in writing and copies of everything to make sure to follow up on such details as I listed above. We discussed everything but only got a copy of the initial contract not a copy of the alcohol contract or other details listed out as mentioned above.
